Great Headphone In Daily Use - RF Wireless Headphones Review

by James Jones

I choose to try it out. The ear-cup covers the whole ear and doesn't sit on top of earlobes unlike a few of the other designs.

The sound is nice, for me anyhow, (I have substantial hearing problems), but very bass and complete sounding.

Nevertheless, I apologize to say the second I put these on, I realized I'd not be able to continue with them. I truly love these headphones and particularly like the switch between movie and music, which actually has a difference!

Nevertheless, if you simply want a set of comfy headphones that sound great, here it is. The bass below 32Hz can still be heard, however with little of the fundamental frequency and many of the odd order harmonics. I put on glasses and the earpieces can be painfully irritating when they are pressed between my ears and my headphones. I had been truly shocked when he first put them on and said "these really sound great." I'm certain the headband was created to make the entire unit more lightweght, but boy, I sure take care using the two thin strips of plastic which hold the right and left sides together. For a $25 set of headphones, sound is nice! Stay with wrap-arounds and save your valuable cash. They're comfortable and sound great.

I'd say that any sound below about 50Hz just buzzes and is about as irritating as the highs. I rate the product a three becuase it's good if your simply looking for a less expensive headset that actually works but not perfectly. If you are looking to get headphones with great overall sound, they are great. I truly got what I paid for buying these. The Sony MDR-XD200 is extremely lightweight, comfortable and "very well balanced" headphones which I really surprised with it's quality of sound for the cost of $25.00 I paid! They have great sound and I mosty use these cool headphones for home use. You should not be disappointed as I am not! They've survived many drops, pulls on the wire, puppy chewing on them, and even a couple of indignant tosses. Noisy (obviously, I've had these for more than a year so that is to be anticipated).

I had no clue how good these where likely to sound.

They sound great but are huge and cumbersome.

Distinct crisp sound in these rf wireless headphones. I purchased this headphone a week ago. Very soft earpads, so don't poke them or scratch them or anything. I know they aren't the best sounding headphones and you may think that you get what you paid for, however the last time I had headphones such as these, they cost me a lot more than two times than these but they did not have the large 40 mm magnets and they were pioneer.
